A Solo GP structure is a deliberate choice, not a constraint. Speed, conviction and accountability in early-stage venture capital are maximised when a single experienced investor makes decisions. What matters is that Jeremy is supported by the right people at every stage of the investment process — from deal sourcing through to fund administration. Every stage benefits from additional support beyond the GP.

* Foxglove Capital has representatives on both the Investment Committee and Advisory Board, ensuring continuity of engagement across all stages of the investment process.
Jeremy is supported by an experienced team at Foxglove Capital, who provide investment management support across deal sourcing, due diligence, portfolio support, governance and fund operations.
This infrastructure enables Kapunda to operate with the rigour and institutional capability of a larger fund while retaining the speed and conviction of a solo GP. Foxglove's involvement in deal sourcing and due diligence is particularly valuable in hard-tech sectors where deep technical assessment is required — expanding the fund's analytical bandwidth beyond what a single GP could sustain across 20–25 investments.
Kapunda's Investment Committee provides structured oversight of investment decisions. The Committee reviews proposed investments, challenges assumptions and provides a formal check on conviction — ensuring that investment decisions are stress-tested before capital is deployed.
This is the same Investment Committee that supported Jeremy's investment activity at Bandera Capital, bringing continuity of experience and an established working relationship with the GP. The Committee's backgrounds span venture capital, private equity, investment banking and hard-tech operations — providing complementary perspectives to Jeremy's own sector expertise.
An Advisory Board of experienced investors and operators provides governance oversight and fund administration guidance. The Advisory Board's primary role is to ensure the fund operates to institutional standards across compliance, reporting, LP relations and fiduciary responsibilities.
In the event of a key person event affecting the GP, the Advisory Board would assume responsibility for managing the portfolio in an orderly manner and returning capital to LPs — providing meaningful structural protection against key person risk.
Perhaps the most valuable and unusual layer of support is the network of founders from Kapunda's 17 prior portfolio companies — spanning energy, industrials and agriculture across Australia, the US and Canada. These founders have chosen to remain actively engaged with Jeremy beyond their individual investment relationships.
They contribute in three specific ways: referring deals from within their sectors and networks; acting as subject matter experts in due diligence on new investments in adjacent areas; and supporting portfolio companies through introductions, commercial advice and lived experience of the challenges of scaling hard-tech businesses. This network is a genuine proprietary asset — it took five years to build and cannot be replicated by a new fund.
